At nearly 100 years old, The Ritz Theatre in Corpus Christi is ready to reclaim her place in the spotlight. Shuttered in 1989, the jaw-dropping atmospheric theatre once introduced movies (and air conditioning) to South Texas, and big-ticket music acts ranging from Waylon Jennings to The Pointer Sisters and Metallica to Willie Nelson.
With your help, we can rehabilitate the Ritz Theatre and bring this Texas legend back as a cultural and entertainment landmark – so the show can go on.
